As part of the dissemination on the Erasmus + project “Increasing Quality of Activities Targeting Rural Youth”, our organization created and coordinated dissemination activities regarding the project.
The forth dissemination activity took part on the 10th of February in а youth center in a small town of North Macedonia – Valandovo and 15 young people attended.
The participants are youth workers from our and other organizations. They had a warm welcome, and the Staff presented themselves and their role in the organization. Then they held a short presentation about our organization, and our main aims and goals. Also the aim of this event was explained.
In order to get to know each other, the participants played few name games and energizers, such as “Name and adjective” and “Samurai”.
The main activity on this event was to present the participants creative workshops for youth of different ages. This session was held by an experienced staff member from our organization and the process of the workshops was explained in details. After this we implemented several fun and creative workshops and had a lot of fun.
After this, the staff held a presentation of the Erasmus + programme, and it’s many possibilities for the youth, with Q&A session. Then the participants played a Kahoot quiz, just so they can see how much they learned about Erasmus + programme.
The project “Increasing Quality of Activities Targeting Rural Youth” was presented and also future events, projects and possibilities that the participants can take part in.
This event was important for the participants because they had the opportunity to learn something valuable, since it is very important for youth workers to know creative workshops that they can implement in their work with young people.
During the event, different tools from non-formal education were used as interesting name games, presentations, discussions, questions and answers session etc.
