Youth Council Next Generation – Dissemination Activity 3 – Creative ways of writing CV and motivational letter

As part of the dissemination on the Erasmus + project “Increasing Quality of Activities Targeting Rural Youth”, our organization created and coordinated dissemination activities regarding the project.

The third dissemination activity took part on the 7th of December, 2019 in the café in Skopje and 23 young people attended.

The participants had a warm welcome, and the Staff presented themselves and their role in the organization. Then they held a short presentation about our organization, and our main aims and goals. Also the aim of this event was explained.

In order to get to know each other, the participants played few name games and energizers, such as “Story of my name and why I am special” and “Number 3”.

The main activity on this event was to present the participants creative ways of writing CV and motivational Letter. This session was held by a staff member from our organization and the process of writing a great CV and motivational letter was explained in details. After this the participants were presented with some tools on the internet (like canva.com) to make the CV more creative. Then they did a trial writing of CV, and the trainer gave feedback and comments of how and where they can do better. They were also introduced to EuroPass, and created CV using this online tool too.

After this, the staff held a presentation of the Erasmus + programme, and it’s many possibilities for the youth, with Q&A session. Then the participants played a Kahoot quiz, just so they can see how much they learned about Erasmus + programme.

The project “Increasing Quality of Activities Targeting Rural Youth” was presented and also future events, projects and possibilities that the participants can take part in.

This event was important for the participants because they had the opportunity to learn something valuable, since it is very important for youth to know how to have a successful job interview, regarding their future jobs and careers etc.

During the event, different tools from non-formal education were used as interesting name games, presentations, discussions, questions and answers session, etc.
